Ricochet, walk away All of this medicine won’t take away your pain Celebrate, all we made Fighting this war as it’s trickling through our brain Creation thoughts Sweet metaphors Creation thoughts From times before Demonstrate, talk away Any coincidence reading it from the page Contemplate, all enslaved Feeding the demons while claiming to want a change Creation thoughts Sweet metaphors Creation thoughts From times before Separate, all betrayed Bleeding consumers and asking for more to pay Elevate the new escape Leaving this world as we come to a passing age Creation thoughts Sweet metaphors Creation thoughts From times before

REFLECTION 02:15
I’m sick of the man in the mirror Ordinary confused and pale Nothing will make this clearer When you see it all for sale What did they want from me? What do you want from them? Find my small piece of land fill And your government As hours tick by The reasons get real And everything you know You find you can’t feel All that we are A moment in time Can’t remember how Can’t remember why I'm sick of the same old routine Day in and day out nothing is for free Because it's already ours! What do they want from you? What do you want from them? Find my small piece of land fill And your government

All of our confusion Living an illusion All of our obsessions Greedy new possessions Our programmed education Dividing up our nation Now everything that you know Learn it from the game shows Bring it all down No, we don't want it anymore Bring it all down No, we don't need it, after all All the fear projections the counterfeit elections All the advertising So demoralizing The love and the compassion is going out of fashion Breath in our pollution we need a new solution Bring it all down We don't need it anymore Bring it all down we don't need it after all.

The band age All the rage Set the stage Next process is to wait Out played Underpaid Now crave The psychodelic sage I’m not crazy I’m not crazy Don’t laugh It’s all hazy High hopes Tight ropes More dope Than ever could be smoked Star glance Romance One chance To express the lion dance I’m not crazy I’m not crazy Don’t laugh It’s all amazing!

Hello world, Dropped in for the mail No one was home I’ll call back at some later date Hello world, Following your trails I’m still alone Went off track for a little while Well I’m coming around Try to see what I can find Hello world, Contact me tomorrow Travel through time Crawling out on the other side Hello world, Thank you for the info Testing our genes Come aboard and we’ll take a ride Well I’m coming around Try to see what I can find Leave the shapes on the ground Then I’ll leave you all behind

REACHING OUT 02:31
Well I don't see much now Hanging out in crowds all that I once was I never wanted, I never needed this All that we once we're I know what you'd prefer Now everything you've heard I never wanted no I never needed this I'm preaching I'm reaching I'm teaching I reaching out for you Well I don't know what this is for I just know that I want more Pick my life up off the floor walking it straight out the door Everything you said went straight over my head and all the things you do I never wanted no I never needed this All that we once had It turned from worse to bad nothing could change you I never wanted no I never needed this

about

Mass of the Infinite - A Self-Titled Debut EP

Written, Produced & Recorded by Shane Blewitt in 2010

In the creative confines of a humble home studio, Shane Blewitt gave birth to the self-titled debut EP album by Mass of the Infinite. This musical endeavor served as the foundation for an evolving narrative that continues to captivate listeners to this day.

Concept and Inspiration

Mass of the Infinite draws its inspiration from the enigmatic realms of conspiracy theories, extraterrestrial encounters, and the timeless themes of love. These conceptual threads weave together, forming the backdrop against which the music unfolds.

Sole Creator and Musician

Shane Blewitt assumed the roles of composer, performer, and recording engineer, crafting every note and lyric with dedication and passion. Armed with limited musical equipment, he sought to showcase the raw power of home-recorded punk rock music. His musical influences, drawn from the likes of Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, System of a Down, Regurgitator, and Tool, served as guiding stars in this sonic journey.

2023 Remaster

The version of this album available today is the 2023 remaster. While the essence of the original release remains untouched, this remastering effort has delicately fine-tuned the sound, elevating the volume and enhancing the lower frequencies to provide an even more immersive auditory experience.

A Glimpse into Rarity

Originally unleashed on 11/11/10, the album enjoyed a limited CD release of just 500 copies, rendering them exceedingly rare collector's items.
